Principle Partners
The three principle partners in the HIV Leadership through Accountability programme are:
The Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) is the only worldwide network representing all people living with HIV and AIDS. GNP+ works with national networks of people living with HIV to implement five research tools in this programme and to carry out evidence-informed campaigning, advocacy and lobbying as part of Civil Society campaign platforms.
The World AIDS Campaign (WAC) is a global coalition of national, regional and international civil society groups united by the call for governments to honour their AIDS commitments under the slogan “Stop AIDS, Keep the Promise.” WAC supports the establishment of inclusive and representative Civil Society campaign platforms in the programme countries.
United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID) created the Governance and Transparency Fund (GTF) under which the HIV Leadership through Accountability programme is funded.
