Moldovan PLHIV network: The League of People Living with HIV of Moldova
Summary
The League of People Living with HIV of Republic of Moldova was official registered by the Ministry of Justice of Moldova on 22 June 2007 and has 53 members: 11 NGOs and 41 physical persons.
The organizations listed above act in 4 regions of the Republic of Moldova – Center, East (breakaway region of Transnistria), North and South.
Mission and Vision
Advocate the rights of people living with HIV in the Republic of Moldova and their families as well as unify efforts of state, private and international sector, and civil society to identify solutions to problems related to HIV/AIDS epidemic.
- Develop the potential and ensure capacity of League and its member organizations;
- Ensure universal access to treatment, care and support;
- Develop advocacy activities within decision making process in area of HIV/AIDS at national and regional level ;

Current Campaigns
- Pre and post testing counseling;
- Hotline;
- Individual counseling and group counseling on medical, legal and psychological aspects, including field visits;
- Social patronage of HIV positive persons and HIV + receiving ARV therapy;
- Workshops, seminars, lectures for PLHIV;
- Clubs PLHIV, including therapeutic self-help groups;
- Dating club for PLHIV;
- Workshops and lectures in educational institutions, labor groups, groups with risky behavior;
- Harm reduction;
- Rehabilitation and social reintegration of drug users;
- Newsletter;
