Campaigning, Advocacy & Lobbying
In the first year of engagement with a country, the World AIDS Campaign (WAC) builds a national Civil Society campaign platform around key presenting issues within the country.
In the second year of engagement the national Civil Society campaign platform uses the results of the five HIV mapping (evidence gathering) tools as the basis for evidence-based campaigning, advocacy and lobbying.
In doing so national networks of people living with HIV and broader Civil Society help to hold governments accountable for progress on achieving their goals towards Universal Access to prevention, treatment, care and support.
